Reminds me of Michael Johnson at Manchester City - a lot of potential, a lot of people giving him a chance but ultimately pissing it all away.

I think he'd struggle to flip burgers, Herts. Boy's a fool.

Re: Rav to Cardiff - GONE!
He decided to give himself the week off, and just didn't turn up for training.

If he can't sort that out, then fuck him off. I'm sure all of us would expect to face harsh penalties if we stopped coming to work without explanation. Why should it be different for a professional footballer.

That's the key. If he's not prepared to put in the graft, he's doesn't deserve to be a pro. He can be the best player in his sunday league side whilst flipping burgers for a living.

Found guilty of witness intimidation.
Guilty of criminal damage
Fined by FA for homophobic tweets
Currently facing two charges of common assault
Rumoured to have stolen property of WHUFC teammates from dressing room
Consistently late for training
Seems to "invent" injuries to avoid graft
Born in Manchester, but is an Arsenal fan

Remind me: why is this fucktard going to be missed?

Re: Rav to Cardiff - GONE!
I don't think he'd be a problem if he was getting regular games for us. Seems like he needs the excitement of playing to keep him focused.

I'll be gutted if we don't make a player out of him, even more so if he leaves in the summer.

I'm sure he thinks he's right and everyone else is wrong.

Cardiff followed by St. Mirren hopefully.

you'd have thought getting dropped at QPR may have made him realise he's not the main man really

Re: Rav to Cardiff - GONE!
Don't think I said he would break into the first team in a hurry.... he needs to be somewhere where he doesn't think he is the main man.... as a teenager at Man U he no doubt thought he was the dogs and he no doubt thought he was too good for us.

But anyway, quite frankly I don't give a shit about him.

ludo, who would you drop? Iniesta? Bale?

Re: Rav to Cardiff - GONE!
I make you right Ludo, he needs somewhere bigger than Manchester United.

Laugh? I nearly passed the fags around.

Re: Rav to Cardiff - GONE!
He doesn't deserve it but he is the sort of player that Real Madrid or Barcelona could pick up very cheaply and turn him around.... the little shit is obviously a billy big bollocks and he needs to go somewhere like that where even he recognises that he is very low in the pecking order and has to knuckle down.

Hope so for his sake.otherwise he will be lost to the game.... shame, it doesn't look as though he will do it for us.

Not convinced that he will be a regular starter for Cardiff as Allardyce seems to be implying.

Its a massive shame otb. With the right attitude he could become the best player in the world. He literally is that good.

He just doesnt seem to want it

penners - half a season of brilliance, then it'll go to his head, then he'll bite his manager and actually set fire to some bird's house.

Imagine he had the application of a Noble? He'd have started every game at the World Cup. That said, he'd still be playing for Man Utd too.

penners28 10:09 Fri Sep 26
Re: Rav to Cardiff - GONE!
If he'd have knuckled down like he should have dine he'd be a regular for us and england now.

Massive waste of talent. He'll get his big move in the summer though. That's when we will truly see what the future holds for him.

Could be something in the not turning up for training rumours, or at least it would appear something has gone on

West Ham boss: Ravel must improve discipline off the field
07:30 26 September 2014

Hammers manager Sam Allardyce hints that Morrison is running out of time if he wants a new West Ham contract

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce insists that Ravel Morrison must improve his discipline in his life if he is to have a future at Upton Park.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been sent out on loan to Cardiff City for the next three months and with his contract at the Hammers running out at the end of the season, he needs to find his form on the pitch and clean up his act off it to earn a new deal.

“It is not about him impressing me as a footballer, it is about him applying himself to a disciplined life in general,” said Allardyce this week. “That is what needs to happen and we hope it happens and the sooner the better.”

After a superb start to the campaign last season at West Ham, Morrison’s form dipped and he was shipped out to QPR to play a part in their promotion back to the Premier League.

And now he will be hoping to do the same in south Wales for Cardiff City.

“It’s first-team football for Rav,” said Allardyce. “it’s important he’s playing first team football somewhere and Cardiff are a very good club, trying to get back into the Premier League.

“He can go and play some football and we’ll keep an eye on him and come December we’ll make a decision on him regarding a contract as he is in his last year.”

All West Ham fans know just how good Morrison can be, but Allardyce insists that it is off the field where the problems still lie.

“It is about self-discipline,” said the manager. “We have our code of conduct like everyone else, but self-discipline as a professional or as a person in life is very important and he has to sort out that part of it.

“It is a lack of concentration and discipline. You can only talk to them so often about changing. I think since he has been here he has got better, no doubt, but he still needs to get even more disciplined.

“He is happy when he is playing first team football, so to do that with Cardiff at their stadium with their quest to get back into the Premier League will be good for him.”

The Hammers do have a 28-day call back after the first month for the player, but it seems likely that Morrison may be on his way out of Upton Park by the end of the season one way or another.

Am I right in thinking his contract with us is up in the summer?

Yes I think you're right. We'll get a nominal sum of money for him if he leaves because he is under 23
